Quality Assurance

All On Cheong Jewellery pieces are uniquely crafted, carefully selected and inspected to adhere to high standards of quality. Quality of products is what we guaranteed for our customers coupled with personalised and professional service.

Storing Jewellery

  • Keep jewellery separately in a jewellery pouch.
  • Jewellery is made up of natural minerals, each with its different characteristics.
  • To prevent scratches or damages on softer materials and delicate designs, it is best to store them separately in a soft pouch, even for chains.
  • Avoid squeezing jewellery into a small box.
  • Avoid placing jewellery close to any chemicals.

Jewellery Cleaning

Pearls & Corals

  • Wipe them with a soft cloth (that is not chemically treated), as corals and pearls are organic gems which require tender care.

Gemstones (Diamonds, Ruby, Sapphire, Emeralds etc.)

  • Gently brush gems with a soft toothbrush, with warm diluted soap water and rinse with clean water.
  • Dry it with cool air using hair dryer.

When Wearing Jewellery

  • Refrain from doing heavy household chores or gardening.
  • Refrain from playing sports (Tennis, swimming etc.)
  • Refrain from getting too close to a fireplace.
  • Refrain from touching the jewellery and/or gemstones with your finger.
  • Avoid chemical contact such as perfume, hairspray, alcohol, chlorine and cosmetics etc, with your jewellery.
  • Periodic Check: Sometimes fibres from knitted fabric can get caught in the claws of your jewellery, other times a mild knock may be left unnoticeable.
Bring your precious jewellery in-stores periodically, 6 months to check the setting!

Gems Care to note

The different attributes of gems require different attention.
Remember the general rule of thumb: to put your jewellery last and always remove them first.
Gently wipe with damp cloth after use.

Pearls & Corals

  • Corals and pearls are organic gems. When cared for properly, they can last a lifetime.
  • However, it’s important to keep them away from household chemicals including perfume, makeup and hairspray. Chemicals found in these common products can dull the lustre of your organic gems.
  • As for all jewellery put your pearls and corals on last when getting ready and make them the first thing you take off.
  • Before putting them away, wipe them with a soft cloth and store them separately from other jewellery to avoid scratching their tender surfaces.

Emeralds

  • Although the hardness of emerald is 7 on the Moh’s scale, they can be pretty delicate.
  • Do not use an ultrasonic machine to clean emeralds. If cleaning is required, brush it gently with a soft toothbrush.

Your precious jewellery is an exquisite piece of work created with fine craftsmanship
