Terms of Use
Please read the following terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use”) CAREFULLY before using this website.
On Cheong Co. (Pte) Ltd
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services.
By accessing or making a purchase through this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
1. Intellectual Property Rights
All content presented on this website — including jewellery designs, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, logos, and layout — is the exclusive property of On Cheong Co. (Pte) Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Our designs and brand assets may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, framed, or otherwise used without our prior written consent.
All trademarks and trade names displayed remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Product Presentation
Each jewellery piece is photographed with care to reflect its beauty and craftsmanship. However, due to lighting, screen settings, and photography techniques:
- Proportions may appear larger or smaller than actual size;
- Fine details may be magnified for clarity;
- Gemstone colour tones may vary slightly.
As many of our creations are handcrafted and feature natural gemstones, subtle variations are inherent and are part of the character of each piece.
3. Pricing, Availability & Order Confirmation
3.1 Pricing
All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
We take pride in maintaining accurate pricing and product information. On rare occasions, inadvertent typographical or administrative errors may occur. In such instances, we reserve the right to review and address the affected order prior to acceptance.
The submission of an order and receipt of an automated confirmation email do not constitute final acceptance. An order is confirmed only after verification of pricing, availability, and successful payment clearance.
3.2 Availability
Our jewellery pieces are subject to availability. Due to inventory movement or simultaneous transactions, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed.
Should this occur, we will notify you promptly and offer an appropriate resolution.
3.3 Resolution for Pricing or Availability Issues
If an order cannot be fulfilled due to pricing inaccuracy or unavailability, payment received may be converted into store credit of equivalent value.
Store credit:
- Is valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance;
- Is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash;
- May be used across one or multiple purchases within the validity period.
This arrangement is offered in good faith as a commercial resolution. Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely through independent third-party providers, including but not limited to Stripe, Atome, and GrabPay.
Payment details are handled directly by the relevant provider in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. On Cheong does not retain full credit card details or sensitive authentication information.
We reserve the right to conduct verification checks where necessary to ensure transaction security.
4.1 Fraud Prevention & Chargebacks
To safeguard both our clients and our business, we may perform identity verification and review transactions that appear irregular.
Where a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated after delivery:
- We reserve the right to suspend future transactions;
- Administrative or recovery costs may apply;
- Appropriate recovery or legal steps may be taken where necessary.
5. Delivery (Singapore Only)
We currently offer delivery strictly within the Republic of Singapore.
Delivery may require signature upon receipt. Risk of loss or damage passes upon successful delivery to the designated address.
We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services or incorrect delivery details provided at the time of purchase.
Title to all goods remains with On Cheong Co. (Pte) Ltd until full payment has been received and cleared.
6. Customised / Build-Your-Own Jewellery
6.1 Reference Materials
Images, gemstone visuals, digital renderings, and sample designs are provided for inspiration and reference only.
Gemstones are natural materials and may vary in colour tone, size, clarity, and appearance. The final handcrafted piece will not be identical to digital or reference imagery.
6.2 Estimates & Confirmation
Any pricing indication, add-on cost, or production timeline shared during consultation is an estimate only.
Final pricing and timelines depend on confirmed gemstone selection, material availability, production complexity, and prevailing market conditions.
No customised order proceeds to production without final confirmation of design, specifications, pricing, and timeline.
6.3 Gemstone Market Conditions
Gemstone prices are influenced by supply conditions, sourcing factors, and market movements. As such, quotations reflect prevailing estimates at the time of discussion.
The confirmed price will be provided prior to production and requires acceptance before work commences.
6.4 Craftsmanship & Variations
Due to the bespoke and handcrafted nature of custom jewellery:
- Final proportions, gemstone tones, and finishing details may vary slightly from preliminary sketches or renderings;
- Adjustments may be made to ensure structural integrity and alignment with agreed budget considerations.
Such variations are inherent in custom craftsmanship and do not constitute defects.
6.5 Custom Orders & Cancellation
Once production of a customised piece has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded, except as required under Singapore law.
Deposits for customised jewellery are non-refundable once materials have been sourced and work has begun.
7. Personal Data Protection
On Cheong Co. (Pte) Ltd complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (PDPA).
Personal data collected may be used for order processing, customer service, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. Information may be disclosed to payment processors, logistics partners, or authorities where required by law.
Reasonable safeguards are implemented to protect personal data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The website and its contents are provided on an “as available” basis;
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access;
- We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses;
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Singapore law.
9. Governing Law
